All are easily available near the saferoom! Top combo items to mention are the boxing gloves+knives (prime psycho weapon) Defiler (sledge + fireaxe), MMA Gloves + Nails, Baseball bat + nails, blambow bow & arrow + dynamite.
You can look up any combos on the wiki and make them at level 1 once unlocking the maintenance rooms They only teach you as a player them and give you double PP (XP) on kills. You don't need combo cards to make items.The equivalent imo of the coffeeshop katana for 2 is a hidden sniper rifle and some dynamite on the "top" floor of royal flush plaza.Being a vegas clone alcohol is everywhere for HP but you get sick after 3, but you can most for a painkiller drink reducing damage by half and healing nicely (and omits the sickness!) Juices are in 2, but have different uses and requirements.Try some achievements in downtime like the gifts for katey, don't even have to finish them but are nice side objectives to level.In 2 they have some cheese protection in retaliation moves and I-frames, but also are a bit easier to wing the fights if you didn't expect them. In 1 psychos could easily combo you to death or destroy you in seconds, but you could also cheese them with some knowledge. Biggest tip is the difficulty balancing is different between the 2.
